PHARE Financial Memorandum at a Record Value

The financial minister Milen Velchev and the president of the Delegation of the European Commission in Bulgaria H. Exc. Dimitris Kourkoulas presented today the parameters of a Financial Memorandum on the National PHARE Program for 2004 - II-nd part. The sum of the memorandum is 144,328 mln Euros, the greatest sum that the EC has ever allocated to Bulgaria within a single memorandum of this program, said the financial minister. The aggregate value for Bulgaria on the NP PHARE 2004, accumulated in three memoranda, is 172,525 mln Euros, almost 82% more than in 2003.
